JBLH DRAFT LEAGUES are available of Sundays or Wednesdays during the Fall Season (September to December) or Winter Season (January to April) out of the Redford Ice Arena.
JBLH Sunday Draft League
First step to joining the JBLH Sunday Draft League is to click on the link below and fill out the form about your current skill level and contact information. Once this has been received you will get a confirmation email within 2-3 business days. Please complete your registration no later than August 1st for Fall and December 1st for Winter or we can not guarantee you a spot.
The next season will begin on SUNDAY, JANUARY 7, 2024 all games will start at the following times: 3:30 PM, 4:40 PM and 5:50PM. One set of jersey and socks will need to be purchased from the league If you did not previously play for the team you are drafted to for the season. All games will be played on Sundays and will follow standard Adult Coed Recreational Hockey Rules set by USA Hockey. Make up Games will be played on Thursdays or Saturdays.

Location: Redford Ice Arena, 12400 Beech Daly, Redford Charter Twp, MI
Season Length: Season will begin on SUNDAY, JANUARY 7, 2024. The season will consist of 16 weeks broken down in the chart below based on the number of teams for the season.
Game night: Sundays games start at 3:30 PM, 4:40 PM and 5:50 PM.
Games: Three 17-minute run-time period, with a 4 minutes for warm up, and stop time in the last 2 minutes of the third period if within 2 goals.
Who is Eligible: Must be 21 years old or older before the season starts to participate with a valid USA Hockey Registration.
Insurance: USA Hockey registered league.
Rosters: 10 to 13 skaters per team plus a goalie, all players must rate themselves on registration form and participate in one JBLH drop in for evaluation to join. Teams are drafted and balanced based on ratings. The the JBLH Evaluation Board has the right to move players during the season to create a better balance between rosters. Players will be consulted by the commissioner before a move is made during the season.
Cost: Skaters will pay $350.00 for the season and Goalies will pay $70.00 for the season. If you did not previously play for the team you are drafted to for this season an additional $45.00 is needed to cover jerseys and socks.
Subbing: Free subbing for all current league players. Many opportunities for extra games! If you are not a registered player in the league, but would like to sub in the league please take a moment to fill out the Registration form below.
